About the RoleAs an SEN TA, you'll be working closely with dedicated teaching staff to support students with additional needs, tailoring your approach to ensure each child receives the support they need to thrive. Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with additional needs in both one-to-one and group settings
  • Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, teachers, and other support staff to adapt lesson materials
  • Provide a safe, nurturing environment that encourages independence and learning

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a school setting
  • A patient, caring approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and engage with children of varied abilities and needs
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake SEN training (desirable)
