SEND Primary Teaching Assistant

Early Years SEN TA - Bedford, Bedfordshire - £85-95 - ASAP start

Tradewind are currently looking to appoint a passionate Early Years SEN TA to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Bedford. The successful applicant can expect brilliant on the job training, a supportive SLT team and regular feedback on their performance.

Your role will be working with a child in Reception with Autism. The school are looking for a nurturing and passionate TA who will help facilitate the progress of this child effectively. The child has an EHCP which you will be expected to follow and report back on to the SENDCO and class teacher.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs
  • Have experience of working with children in Early Years
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Be committed to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
  • Can work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

In return, the school is offering a competitive daily rate of between £85 and £95, dependent on experience and qualifications. There is also a high chance of a permanent role being available for September 2025 for the right candidate.
