I have a fantastic opportunity for an ex-military candidate who has a proven background, leading a technical team within a workshop environment. Our prestigious client, based in Bedford, Bedfordshire, are recruiting an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join their new department. Please note, due to the nature of the role, you will be required to hold valid SC clearance.
The successful Workshop Supervisor will work Monday - Friday, leading a small team of Technicians providing vehicle test, validation, and engineering services to high calibre clients. There will be a requirement to travel to client’s sites and work away from home one week, every 10 weeks, therefore you must be flexible towards this. Workshop Supervisor Requirements:
- Have a proven background leading a technical team within a workshop environment.
- Served an engineering apprenticeship related to motor vehicles.
- Ideally have worked on large military vehicles, including vehicle testing and maintenance.
- LOLER and PUWER experience.
- IT Literate.
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental management processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must hold a full UK driving license.
- Willing to undergo a criminal disclosure check.
- Must hold valid SC clearance.
Workshop Supervisor Benefits:
