Technical Co-ordinator
£27,000 to £34,000 per annum depending on experience
Full time on site
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and develop the quality system.
- Work with senior manages in driving the business to maintain our BRCGS +AA accreditation.
- Ensure that all organisations own brand suppliers meet all the necessary audit requirements to enable supply to our customer base.
- Ensure that all technical/quality specifications are kept up to date and adhered to.
- Monitoring ongoing quality of businesses own brands.
- Ensure that Health and Safety systems are audited and checked with senior managers on a regular basis.
- Ensure that all labelling of products is in line with the latest guidelines
- Final approval/sign off on packaging/labelling for any businesses own brand products.
- Ensure all technical paperwork/systems are put in place for product launches.
- Work with senior managers to ensure critical path for launches are put in place and managed accordingly to deliver launches on time.
- Propose new products in line with company strategy and current market trends.
Person Specification:
- Relevant qualification within Food Manufacturing
- Proven experience in Quality or Technical role.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, BRC) is highly desirable.
