Estates Officer

Bedford - Hybrid

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated individual, preferably with Housing Management experience, to provide an excellent level of tenancy and neighbourhood management services to our local neighbourhoods, ensuring a strong customer focus at all times.?

This is a home based role, visiting customers as required, with the occasional need to attend Head Office based in Bedford Heights to meet with colleagues and for team meetings.

What you will be doing:?

  • Providing contract support for relevant contracts in place to ensure our shared spaces are maintained to a high standard, in accordance with our contractual obligations.

  • Be first point of contact for customers, colleagues and contractors. This includes ensuring customer enquiries and complaints are dealt with promptly.

  • Provide accurate, up to date, concise information and communications to internal and external stakeholders when required.

  • Monitor, manage and accurately report statutory and non-statutory compliance adhering to legislation, best practice, current guidance and bpha’s policies and procedures.

  • Recording, tracking, monitoring and reporting of budgets spends.

We’d love to meet someone with:?

  • Previous experience in a similar role of estate management to include Grounds Maintenance & Cleaning?

  • A good working knowledge of MS office and other specialist software packages as required by the association (Asprey an advantage but not essential) ?

  • Cost awareness knowledge ?

  • Experience helping manage contractors ?

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills?

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal?
