SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join our clients team. In this role, you will support the classroom teacher and contribute to creating a positive learning environment for students across various age groups.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in preparing and delivering lesson plans.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning and provide additional support as needed.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Help to manage student behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Assist in preparing and grading student assignments and assessments.
  • Provide support to students with special needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to plan and implement school activities and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
