Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or group support to SEN and PMLD students.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and specialists to implement tailored learning plans.
- Foster a safe, engaging environment that supports students' well-being and participation.
- Assist during lessons, break times, and school activities to promote inclusivity.
- Help prepare and organize learning materials to enhance the classroom experience.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with SEN and/or PMLD pupils is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with children, staff, and families.
- Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to different learning needs.
- Relevant qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are a plus but not required.
- Flexibility to adapt to varied learning challenges.
- Local to Kempston with a reliable commute.
- A full driving license is preferred.
