We are currently seeking an Internal Sales Engineer based in Kempston to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established manufacturer who are going throw a big growth period.
Summary of the Internal Sales Engineer role
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 Location: KempstonType of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am – 12:00pm
Responsibilities of theInternal Sales Engineer
- Manage and interpret both new and existing customer requirements.
- Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to new and existing customers.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Calculate accurate and competitive sales quotations and prepare tenders, proposals, designs and technical documents to meet customer deadlines.
- Follow up quotations.
- Offer after-sales service and support.
- Enter all sales orders onto Sage.
Requirements for a successful Internal Sales Engineer
- Strong sales background ideally within manufacturing.
- Able to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Sage.
- HVAC knowledge useful
- Tenacity, enthusiasm and determination
- Outstanding communication skills both written & verbal
