I am working exclusively with my Bedfordshire-based client, a leading manufacturer of electro-mechanical products serving a range of process-related industries, to find an experienced Fabrication Engineer with excellent coded welding skills to join their in-house Engineering Team.

Based at their site in Stewartby, your key responsibilities will include:

  • MIG and TIG welding including, but not limited to;
    • fabrication of:
      • pin bars;
      • stands;
      • burners;
      • pipework;
      • cylinders;
      • louvres;
    • pining and lining of cylinders.
  • Cutting and drilling of carbon steel and stainless steel in preparation for welding.
  • Threading of pipes using pipe threading machine.
  • General work shop assistance

Person specification:

  • Proven fabrication experience.
  • Adaptability to changing work priorities.
  • Eye for detail and quality work.
  • Confident team player able to work alone and within existing close-knit team.
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge / experience with colleagues.
  • Willingness to get involved and add 'value' to the team.

In return they are willing to pay an attractive salary for a standard working week Mon-Fri 8-4 (some flexibility available). They also have free carparking on site.
