Property Manager

£26,000 - £30,000 per annum

NG9, Beeston

Full Time, Permanent – 9:00am – 5:30pm  

Minimal weekend work, with occasional Saturday shifts - 9:00am – 1:00pm

The Property Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of a designated student property portfolio, with a focus on delivering excellent service to tenants and landlords. This position involves comprehensive portfolio management, including marketing support, inspections, repairs and tenancy administration. The role also requires secondary support for other properties within the portfolio as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a portfolio of approximately 120 student properties, ranging from 1 to 9 bedrooms.
  • Manage all aspects of property marketing, including conducting viewings.
  • Handle reactive and planned maintenance requests.
  • Conduct periodic and final inspections, organising required works post-inspection.
  • Ensure compliance with deposit regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants, landlords, and contractors.
  • Manage property-related administration, including licence applications and tenancy transitions.
  • Oversee the end-of-tenancy process, including checkouts and managing any required deposit deductions or disputes.
  • Respond promptly to client communications, ensuring alignment with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and organised paper and digital records.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a portfolio of properties.
  • Understanding of landlord and tenant legislation.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proactive, organised and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK Driving License
