THE COMPANY
Delivering large scale events including conferences, gala dinners, awards, music events and much more, this leading venue is looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join their growing team.
This award-winning venue has an excellent reputation for consistently creating innovative world-class events for a broad range of clients, with full production in-house and high-tech kit to ensure that each event is unique and delivered to the highest standard possible!
THE ROLE
Responsible for the management of technical projects from proposal to delivery this role will be varied and fast paced and will require an excellent understanding of what it takes to ensure the successful technical delivery of events within a large-scale complex venue.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Management of technical projects from proposal to delivery
- Line management of full time and casual AV Technicians
- Oversight of all technical equipment and infrastructure
- Advising on technical aspects of events
- Managing AV expenditure and budgets
- Health & safety and risk management
- Developing operational procedures
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, we are looking for candidates that have proven hands on technical experience from within the live events, conferencing or large-scale venue sectors. Candidates will have a strong commercial mindset with an understanding of technical production, as well as the ability to directly manage a team.
