The Opportunity

This boutique advisory firm has been providing high-quality financial planning services for over two decades. As part of a close-knit team, you will work alongside experienced financial advisers and support staff, contributing to the delivery of tailored financial solutions for clients.

This role offers a full-time, on-site position in Belfast, providing an excellent opportunity to develop within a business that values integrity, technical excellence, and client-focused service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting detailed financial planning research to support advisers in delivering bespoke client solutions
  • Preparing comprehensive suitability reports and financial recommendations in line with FCA regulations
  • Analysing investment strategies and financial products to ensure optimal client outcomes
  • Liaising with clients and financial institutions to gather necessary information and documentation
  • Ensuring all financial reports, research, and compliance documentation are accurate and up to date
  • Utilising financial planning software to produce investment analysis and projections
  • Supporting advisers in developing long-term financial plans and reviewing client portfolios

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a Paraplanner in an independent financial advisory or wealth management setting
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in investments, pensions, and holistic financial planning
  • Exceptional report writing abilities with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in financial planning software and research tools
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • A degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is desirable but not essential
