Shift Maintenance Engineer - Belfast / Lisburn Area



Our client are a global manufacturer supplying products worldwide.


We are recruiting a Shift Maintenance Engineer who will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment, based at their site close to Belfast and Lisburn.

Shift pattern is continentals 2 week days and 2 week nights, with a starting salary at over 48k later rising to 51k, additional overtime is paid at 1.5 rate.


We are looking for candidates with strong Electrical or Mechatronic/ Multi-skilled experience from manufacturing maintenance settings.

The Role

  • Planned and reactive maintenance on production plant and equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly
  • Continuous improvement and machine upgrades
  • Work across electrical and mechanical systems
  • Work as part of a maintenance team to minimise downtime and maximise performance
  • Record maintenance logs as required
  • Work in line with company policy and health & safety



What we are looking for:

  • Level 3 apprenticeship in Engineering, Mechatronic or Electrical
  • Maintenance experience in a manufacturing/ production setting
  • Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Preferable to have knowledge of PLC's, controls and robotics
