A leading facilities management company is looking for a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Manager in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned M&E professional to take charge of overseeing both reactive and planned maintenance for mechanical and electrical teams. The role offers an excellent salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum and the chance to work with a well-established team.What you’ll do as Mechanical & Electrical Manager:
  • Lead and oversee all reactive maintenance activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Prioritise and assign tasks to ensure quick resolution of any issues.
  • Ensure the delivery of planned maintenance, following SFG20 guidelines.
  • Develop mobile working solutions and track remedial actions across all planned works.
  • Manage and mentor a team of M&E technicians.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to drive team performance and skill growth.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance efficiency.
  • Drive improvements in planned maintenance processes and mobile solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
  • Work closely with the service delivery team to maintain clear communication with clients.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of spare parts, ensuring each team has adequate supplies.
We’re looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Manager with:Essential Criteria:
  • Strong experience managing maintenance operations for M&E teams.
  • In-depth hands-on experience in M&E engineering, with comprehensive knowledge of maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in management software (e.g., CAFM, Microsoft Office).
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Desirable Criteria:
  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications.
