We are working with a global financial institution to recruit a dedicated professional to join the Middle Office support team, focusing on Fixed Income products and an upcoming platform migration for current GMI reconciliations. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring accurate capture of positions and risks, resolving trade issues, and maintaining robust processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and compile daily exception reports to ensure accurate capture of positions and risks at execution.
  • Liaise with Traders, Clients, and Operations teams to resolve issues, provide trade information, and act as a point of contact across the firm.
  • Investigate cash and payment fails, trade maintenance, and reconcile daily trading activities.
  • Maintain, test, develop, and improve current processes and procedures.
  • Review daily control reports to identify patterns of exceptions.

Key requirements:

  • At least 1 years' experience in Fixed Income, preferably in a Middle Office, Operations, or Product Control role.
  • Strong Excel skills (VBA knowledge or Access DB experience is a plus).
  • Creative and open-minded approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including early starts or late nights as needed.
