Principal Full Stack Developer / Engineer (TypeScript React) Northern Ireland to £90k
Opportunity to become a founding member at a tech start-up that is developing a unique product that provides simulations of safety critical IT systems failures to train and drill reactions from those responsible for incident response to enhance efficiency and minimise downtime.
As a Principal Full Stack Developer you'll join small team of tech entrepreneurs, working across the full tech stack but with a focus on developing front end components across 4-5 microservices using TypeScript, React, NestJS and React. You'll collaborate with the UX Designer to define, design, wireframe and deliver new features, writing clean, efficient code across the full software development lifecycle.
Location / WFH:
The office is based in Belfast, you'll need to be commutable to it for occasional meet-ups but can work remotely from anywhere in Northern Ireland.
About you:
- You are an experienced software engineer with full stack development experience
- You have extensive experience with TypeScript, React and NestJS
- You have a thorough understanding of software engineering best practices, including full lifecycle development, code review and testing
- You have experience with messaging and microservices communication
- You have an understanding of using Kubernetes for deployment
- You're collaborative, enjoy problem solving and taking ownership
