About the Role:

As a Receptionist/Switchboard Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all visitors and patients receive a warm welcome and that their needs are met promptly. You'll be responsible for managing communications, handling inquiries, and supporting our administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a high-quality reception service to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidentiality while recording patient information.
  • Sort and handle internal and external mail efficiently.
  • Direct visitors and patients to the appropriate areas within the hospital.
  • Manage petty cash and process financial documentation accurately.
  • Upload Paris referrals as required.
  • Type and circulate correspondence, including letters, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Liaise with various departments to assist in service provision.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades A-C, including English Language.
  • At least 1 year of clerical experience.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional demeanour.
