Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Pay and Reward to join our clients team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role will be based in Lanarkshire two days per week and offers a competitive salary of up to 70,000. The successful candidate will lead the Pay and Reward function, ensuring compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the companies goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive pay and reward strategies that support the organisation's objectives.
  • Lead the annual salary review process, including benchmarking and market analysis.
  • Oversee the design and administration of employee benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in compensation and benefits.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management on all aspects of pay and reward.
  • Manage the pay and reward team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Analyse and report on pay and reward data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to integrate pay and reward strategies with broader organisational initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior pay and reward role, ideally within a large organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
