Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing company and they are looking to recruit a Marketing Sales Support Executive to join their team on a full-time permanent basis, based at their offices in Belper.

There is an option for hybrid working for this role after a successful period.

Hours: Mon-Fri - 37 hours per week (8.30 - 17:00 with a 15.30 finish on Friday's) - Flexibility however will be required to attend events outside of these hours.

About the Marketing Sales Support Executive Role
This role is responsible for providing a high level of marketing support to the One-Off, Commercial, and Specification sales teams, driving sales growth, providing positive customer interactions, and maximising opportunities to promote campaigns and activities.

What duties would you be doing within the Marketing Sales Support Executive role?

  • Be involved in the development, creation, and delivery of sales materials for the sales teams. This can include POS advertising, merchandise, and digital assets.
  • Support the Sales team in organising and promoting sales activities such as merchant events, promotional van tours, and other prospecting work.
  • Be the primary contact for a wide and diverse team of sales professionals.
  • Assist in the growth and engagement of our B2B installer customer base by positively engaging with installers through various channels including social media, inbound contact lines, and external events.
  • Ensure all one-off and specification sales teams are aware of Marketing Activation activities and are fully supported through effective briefings and documentation.
  • Provide reporting on ROI for supported activities and share these results with the activation team, and the Marketing and Sales functions.

What will you bring to the Marketing Sales Support Executive role?

  • At least 1-2 years previous experience within a Marketing role is preferred with an understanding of Marketing Channels & Techniques
  • Marketing Degree - desirable but not essential
  • Experience of B2B, ROI reporting
  • Experience within the manufacturing / energy/ heating industry highly desirable
  • Experience of sales growth, customer interactions and promoting sales materials
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritise / make decisions.
  • Commercial expertise and knowledge of the trade environment is beneficial.
  • Great communication and presentation skills are required to enable you to confidently deliver effective presentations to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Pride yourself on your attention to detail skills and have a high level of accuracy across your work.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers is important, therefore good interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to produce and deliver reports to support well informed strategic decisions requires strong numeracy and analytical skills.
