We are looking for a skilled joiner / carpenter to join our team, you will be responsible for assembling of pre-machined frames, installing ironmongery into timber fire doors, pre hanging the doors in the frames, installing glass vision panels with pre made beads using a variety of tools and techniques.

This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties:

- Installing hinges, locks, spy holes, letter boxes, intumescent etc into pre machined door sets according to specifications.
- Operate power tools and hand tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, and locks
- Assembling pre machine frames together
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for woodworking
- Knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and cuts
- Familiarity with timber doors and fitting an advantage
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

This is a full-time position based in our manufacturing workshop.
