Sonic Summary

The position is for a Surveyor / Inspector / QA in Passive Fire Protection based in Belvedere, with a salary of £35,000 plus a company vehicle and fuel card.
The role involves checking fire door and fire stopping reports for technical accuracy, conducting site visits, and performing Quality Assurance checks.
Candidates are required to have experience in fire door and compartmentation work, along with a recognized fire door related qualification.
A full UK driving license and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.
The job requires travel within the M25 and a monthly trip to Dudley, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Tablet/PDA usage is necessary.

Responsibilities:

Checking fire door reports for technical accuracy in line with BS 8214 and knowledge of BM Trada ART's.
Checking fire stopping reports for technical accuracy inline with manufactures tested detail.
Completing ad hoc site visits to check accuracy of the reports received.
Completing Quality Assurance checks on site of the fire door and fire stopping surveys.
Provide feedback on reports accuracy and contents and highlighting any repeat poor report outputs.

Experience / Qualifications

Fire Door & Compartmentation Experience (Installation, Supervising, Surveying)
Recognised Fire Door Related Qualification
Full UK driving license
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
IT literate, able to use microsoft suite and Tablet/PDA's.
