Accounts Receivable and Credit Controller

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable and Credit Controller to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and has a knack for managing finances efficiently. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and the flexibility of part-time hours.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounts receivable cycle.
  • Ensuring timely collection of payments from clients while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO.
  • Reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
  • Generating financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Resolving any issues or discrepancies related to invoicing and payment from clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable or Credit Controller.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
