  • Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in Physics and Engineering, ensuring they meet the needs of the curriculum and students.
  • Provide academic support to students, including feedback on assessments and progress tracking.
  • Develop, update, and enhance teaching materials, ensuring they align with the latest industry standards and technological advancements.
  • Participate in the development and improvement of the curriculum, bringing innovative ideas and practical applications to lessons.
  • Assess students through exams, assignments, and projects, ensuring fair and timely evaluations.
  • Engage with students outside of class through mentoring and support to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Contribute to student recruitment, open days, and promotional events to showcase the institution's offerings.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to engage students in complex topics.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain challenging concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Practical experience in the field of Physics and/or Engineering.
  • Familiarity with current trends and advancements in both subjects.
  • Experience in delivering practical, hands-on learning in laboratories or workshops.
