About the Role:Are you a dynamic, forward-thinking individual with exceptional communication abilities and a proven track record in manufacturing sales and distribution? My client, is an award-winning manufacture within the packaging industry, they are looking to expand their team and bring on an established business development manager. In this role, you will be responsible for building effective relationships with prospective customers and stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities within sales, and leveraging your manufacturing and distribution experience to drive success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline
  • Implement strategic sales plans and initiatives
  • Follow up on leads through sales calls, emails, and client meetings
  • Create and execute clear advertising and partnership plans
  • Oversee the entire sales journey for new and existing clients
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally
  • Ensure effective communication with B2B customers
  • Report and forecast revenue from all customers
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities
  • Maintain accurate records on CRM systems for revenue forecasting
  • Leverage your manufacturing and distribution experience to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution
  • Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with C-suite individuals and distributor partners
  • Strong negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach
