Our client, one of the UK's largest refuse vehicle specialists, is currently looking to hire a Vehicle Prepper Strip/Fit Technician to join their vehicle preparation centre in Berkeley.Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a friendly workshop team, as a Vehicle Prepper Strip/Fit Technician your key responsibilities will include: 
  • New refuse vehicle repairs, new vehicle colour changes, and used vehicle refurbishment.
  • Prepping, strip/fitting refuse vehicles to a high standard.
  • Ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times.
  • Carry out other duties considered to be within the scope of your job and needs within the business.
In order to be eligible you will have experience in the automotive workshop environment, ideally working with similar commercial vehicles. You will be confident with regards to vehicle prepping, masking, and strip/refit. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
