Role Overview:As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students, providing tailored support to help them achieve their full potential. Your role will involve creating a nurturing environment where every learner feels supported, valued, and encouraged.

Your Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
• Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and accessible lessons.
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional and academic development.
• Offer emotional and behavioural support to students, helping them overcome challenges.
• Support students with personal care needs where necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure each child's needs are met.
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and behaviour.

Your Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN in an educational or care setting.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to working with students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.
