Our client is the UK's largest and most progressive Leisure Centre Operator. They currently have a great opportunity and are looking to recruit a Duty Manager for their key site, based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

Main Objectives

路Support the day to day running of the facilities, services and lettings

路Maintain a safe environment for users and staff at all times

Tasks and Responsibilities

路Operate the building and facilities in accordance with Normal Operating Procedures, Emergency Action Plans, and the Health and Safety policy in order to provide a safe environment for all.

路Act as a key holder and open and close facility ensuring building/equipment checks are carried out as stipulated in the daily log

路Assist the Centre Manager and Assistant Manager with administration as required.

路Act as receptionist for all Centre users-promote a customer-focused environment, generating excellent public relations and customer care.

路Ensure all relevant qualifications are kept up to date, and attend/undertake any training as required.

路Ensure appropriate equipment is set out and prepared for users in a timely manner and put away after use

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within the leisure industry and must posses the following qualifications:

First Aid Certificate

NPLQ Certificate

PPO Certificate - Desirable
