Supply Desk is searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS teacher Assistant to work up to five days a week in a school in the Berkamstead area. The ideal teaching assistant will have prior experience working with young children and will be committed to providing a secure and supportive learning environment.

The Role and the Ideal Candidate: 

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in supporting children of relevant age.
  • A strong desire and passion for supporting teachers and commitment towards the welfare and development of young pupils. This is achieved by creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where all pupils are made to feel valued despite their backgrounds or learning abilities. 
  • Planning educational activities that support teachers lesson plans to stimulate child’s curiosity and interest to learning through Rhythm, songs and play.
