Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Management:
- Ensure all exported pharmaceutical products comply with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), international quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and other quality-related documentation for export shipments.
- Conduct quality checks and audits on export batches, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs teams to address any quality issues or deviations that arise during the export process.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures specifically tailored for export operations, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics process for the export of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to international customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service providers to optimize shipping routes and costs.
- Ensure all shipments comply with UK and international regulations, including customs documentation, import/export licenses, and trade compliance.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels in coordination with production and warehouse teams to meet export demand.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers and internal stakeholders, resolving any issues that may arise during transit.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Prepare, review, and manage all export-related quality documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK and international regulations.
- Stay informed on changes in international quality standards and regulations, updating internal procedures as necessary to maintain compliance.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and transportation conditions for pharmaceutical products to maintain quality during transit.
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and other relevant pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Stay updated on international trade laws, customs regulations, and tariff schedules affecting the pharmaceutical industry.
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze quality-related data from export operations and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and compliance.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and procedures related to exports.
- Analyze and optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to enhance the overall export process.
