An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Accountant at a modern, independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Beverley.
The role requires a minimum of 3 years' practice experience in an accountancy firm and ideally ACA or ACCA qualification or nearing completion.
Responsibilities include preparing statutory year-end accounts, finalizing corporate and personal tax returns, and supporting a trainee accountant.
The firm offers a salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 along with benefits such as flexible work hours, free parking, and professional development opportunities.
Candidates should be comfortable building client relationships and supporting junior team members.

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a modern, growing, independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Beverley. This firm offers a wide range of services from audit, tax, bookkeeping, management accounts and accounts preparation. There is lots of support available with this firm, with an open plan office to encourage collaboration and yearly trips to support team building and professional development. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

Preparation and review of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
Finalising Corporate Tax and Personal Tax returns.
Supporting a trainee accountant, helping them to progress and grow.
Liaising with clients when necessary and forming long-term relationships.

To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, ideally you:

Will be ACA or ACCA qualified or nearing completion.
Will have a minimum of 3 years’ Practice experience in an accountancy firm, having worked as a Senior Accountant.
Feel comfortable and confident contacting clients and building relationships and supporting junior members of the team.
