 We are working exclusively with an accountancy practice in the Beverley area who are looking bring in a new Bookkeeper / Trainee Accountant that they can support and develop their career within their growing business.

What the Bookkeeper job involves

  • Supporting the two directors, you will be looking after a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • You will be preparing draft company accounts for a number of different types of clients to support the directors.
  • Filing VAT returns and bookkeeping.
  • Completing corporation and personal tax returns.
  • Supporting clients with the use of Sage, Quickbooks and Xero

Skills required

  • AAT Level 2 / Level 3
  • Minimum of 2/3 years accounts experience
  • Accountancy practice experience is preferable, although they may look at someone who has worked in a small to medium sized business in an all round accountancy support role / bookkeeping role.
  • A good attention to detail.
  • Able to work as part of a team and support their clients.

  • Full time Monday to Friday
