Ideally you will:

  • Have expertise in construction, highways or engineering disciplines
  • Excel in co-ordinating projects and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of workstreams
  • Have extensive experience in designing and managing engineering projects from inception through to completion
  • Possess strong knowledge of legislation, regulations and industry practices, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality engineering and infrastructure projects, managing contractors, budgets and timelines to achieve successful outcomes
  • Working with external bodies, contractors and stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues and align projects with broader goals
  • Conducting public consultations, providing expert advice and managing enquiries to ensure clear and effective communication with the community
  • Designing and overseeing engineering processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and standards.
