Job Title: Senior Engineer
Location: County Hall, Beverley
Salary: £42,708 - £44,711 per annum
Job Type: Full time, Permanent
Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week

Ideally you will:
- Have expertise in construction, highways or engineering disciplines
- Excel in co-ordinating projects and collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of workstreams
- Have extensive experience in designing and managing engineering projects from inception through to completion
- Possess strong knowledge of legislation, regulations and industry practices, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality engineering and infrastructure projects, managing contractors, budgets and timelines to achieve successful outcomes
- Working with external bodies, contractors and stakeholders to gather information, resolve issues and align projects with broader goals
- Conducting public consultations, providing expert advice and managing enquiries to ensure clear and effective communication with the community
- Designing and overseeing engineering processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies and standards.
