As a Sales Executive, you will play a vital role within their existing sales and customer service structure. While initially office-based, there is potential for this role to evolve into both internal and external positions, with opportunities for UK and international travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of an existing customer base within an agreed territory and identify areas for growth and development.
  • Proactively search for new opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Respond to customer enquiries, provide quotes, and resolve queries independently or with support from the Technical team.
  • Contribute to the growth of the business by reactivating dormant accounts and meeting established targets.
  • Maintain customer sales records and update customer information in the CRM system.
  • Communicate with customers to maintain momentum of delivery and identify additional potential opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed quote conversion rates as per agreed targets.
  • Carry out any other duties as reasonably required.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:

  • Energetic and driven personality, thriving in a sales environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, maintaining a professional approach at all times.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with good overall computer skills.
  • Strong numeracy skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Independent and team-oriented, capable of working autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Proactive and motivated, with a desire to grow within the role.

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience:

  • Previous experience in sales or business development roles.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and their functionalities.
  • Microsoft Excel and Word.
