We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to join our client on a Temporary to Permanent basis. In this role, you will set up and operate a CNC Press Brake to produce components according to company specifications and work instructions.The Duties of a Press Brake Operator:

  • Set up and operate the CNC Press Brake, including tool changes and material loading.
  • Review and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and instructions.
  • Accurately measure, inspect, and identify finished components.
  • Log production operations in the company's FMS platform.
  • Prioritise work orders and ensure production targets are met within time constraints.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring pedestrian walkways remain clear.
  • Safely offload, transfer, and store materials.
  • Perform routine in-house maintenance and safety checks on machinery.

The Requirements of a Press Brake Operator:

  • Compliance with all PPE and safety equipment protocols specific to the role.
  • A proactive attitude towards continuous learning and training in company operations.
  • Strong attention to detail in reporting equipment, quality, safety, and operational concerns
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
  • Minimum 1 year press brake experience desirable
  • Frequent and repetitive bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
