About the Business
An opportunity to be a Credit Controller for an exciting tech company based in Kidderminster. They are looking for an all-round, experienced credit controller. This business has built a great reputation and gives you a fantastic chance to be a part of an expanding and exciting team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Management of own ledger of accounts.
- Chasing overdue debts by telephone, email and letter up to litigation.
- Following up unpaid bills with Partners, and Lawyers.
- Liaising with internal teams and Partners to minimise & quickly resolve queries.
- Building strong relationships with Internal & External Clients.
- Working in a team of Credit Controllers.
- Oversee the collection of outstanding payments from clients or customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for goods or services rendered.
- Work with customers to set up feasible payment plans for outstanding debts.
- Handle any disputes or discrepancies related to invoices and payment terms.
- Prepare regular reports on outstanding debts, collections progress, and aging accounts for management.
Location / Office / Culture
The role is office based in Kidderminster. The company operate from a modern office consisting of a strong team of 40.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- AAT/CIMA or QBE
- Strong Experience as a Credit Controller is essential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills - be able to manage your own workload
- Ability to managed tight deadlines
- Excellent numeracy and accuracy skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Be a supportive and motivated team member, with drive to do well.
