One of our clients have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join their team in Kidderminster - This will be for a brand new site due to the company rapidly growing.
We are looking for someone who has plenty of experience in Warehouse management that can hit the ground running and help set up the site.
Hours are varied between Monday to Friday - shift rotation:
- 6am-2pm
- 9am-6pm
- 1pm-9pm
As a warehouse manager, ideally we are looking for someone who is flexible during these times as it may be early mornings needed due to making deliveries.
- Utilise AS400 software for inventory management and reporting.
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stocktaking
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and retrieval practices are followed.
- Operate forklifts safely for moving heavy items within the warehouse.
- Conducting interviews
- Training staff
What we are looking for in an ideal candidate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment required
- Management experience preferably in Warehouse/Logistics required
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems required
- Must be able to manage a team of 10 or more
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- A valid forklift counterbalance licence is essential. A clean driving licence is also required as part of the role will involve making deliveries - will be required to drive a 3.5t van
The successful candidate must be willing to travel to London to conduct 1 weeks training before starting at Kidderminster site.
