  • Hours: 39 hours a week (Monday-Thursday)

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Production Manager
  • Read and interpret drawings, and carry out works accordingly
  • Use power tools, hydraulics, and electrics, and complete MIG welding
  • Produce finished products to build process deadlines
  • Raise issues during the build process and record changes
  • Capture and record information for future builds
  • Support sub-contractors on site
  • Monitor the build process and liaise with the Production Manager
  • Finalise all relevant paperwork
  • Assist with vehicle inspections and testing
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure safe working practices

Requirements:

  • Mechanical knowledge from commercial vehicles, plant hire, or bodybuilding sectors
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work to time constraints and customer specifications
  • Working knowledge of power tools, hydraulics, and electrics
  • MIG welding experience (desirable)
  • Good communication, organisational, and time management skills
  • Professional, self-motivated, and customer service-oriented
