Job Details:
- Location: Kidderminster, UK
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 39 hours a week (Monday-Thursday)
- Salary: £32,500 to £40,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Benefits: Paid weekly, attendance bonus scheme, pension scheme, free-site parking, AXA health scheme
Responsibilities:
- Support the Production Manager
- Read and interpret drawings, and carry out works accordingly
- Use power tools, hydraulics, and electrics, and complete MIG welding
- Produce finished products to build process deadlines
- Raise issues during the build process and record changes
- Capture and record information for future builds
- Support sub-contractors on site
- Monitor the build process and liaise with the Production Manager
- Finalise all relevant paperwork
- Assist with vehicle inspections and testing
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and ensure safe working practices
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge from commercial vehicles, plant hire, or bodybuilding sectors
- Willingness to learn and ability to work to time constraints and customer specifications
- Working knowledge of power tools, hydraulics, and electrics
- MIG welding experience (desirable)
- Good communication, organisational, and time management skills
- Professional, self-motivated, and customer service-oriented
