Location: KidderminsterHours: Mon - Fri 07:30 - 15:30Pay: From £12.48 per hourContract: Temp - PermPertemps are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing company based in Kidderminster. Working on a temporary to permanent basis, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for manufacturing and a desire to grow within the team. The successful candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed.The Duties of a Quality Inspector:
  • Generate, co-ordinate and utilise Inspection Plans and appropriate measuring tools
  • Perform effective & efficient inspection of Incoming Materials, Stock Investigations and Finished Goods
  • Reject all non-conforming products and materials that fail to meet quality Specifications.
  • Control Rejected/Quarantined Material, review and monitor supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed departmental records
  • Provide analysis and actions to meet Customer Requirements and Production Timelines in terms of Quality and Delivery.
  • Ability to read CAD Drawings and Product Specifications to understand requirements
  • Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the product to the specifications.
  • Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure consistent quality control.
  • Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient
The Requirements of a Quality Inspector:
  • Excellent Written and Spoken English
  • Quality Engineer experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Work within required Timelines to avoid Production down time
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good math and technical skills
  • Good understanding of 2D drawings
  • Excellent attendance and reliability record
