We seek a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Kidderminster. You will be working with a 24-year-old gentleman diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, helping him lead a fulfilling and independent life. Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support tailored to the individual's needs and preferences.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Promote social inclusion and support the individual in engaging with community activities and hobbies.
  • Implement strategies to manage behaviours associated with Autism and ADHD.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with the individual, family members, and other professionals involved in their care.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with individuals with Autism and ADHD is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with Autism and ADHD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, if required.
  • A valid UK driver's license.
