Aspire People are partnering with a specialist school in the Kidderminster area to recruit a compassionate and resilient SEN Teacher to join their dedicated team. This school supports children aged 7 to 16 with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and trauma-related needs. As part of the role, you will also contribute to personal care responsibilities, alongside other teachers and teaching assistants.About the School:This nurturing and inclusive special needs school provides a safe, structured, and supportive environment for children with complex needs. Their child-centered, trauma-informed approach ensures that each student receives individualized support to reach their full potential-academically, socially, and emotionally.The Role:As an SEN Teacher, you will:* Plan and deliver engaging, personalized lessons tailored to students' diverse needs.* Use creative and adaptive teaching strategies to support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation.* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to foster a positive learning environment.* Build strong, trusting relationships with students to help them feel safe, valued, and empowered.* Support students in achieving their Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) targets.* Assist with personal care as required, ensuring the well-being and dignity of each child.What We're Looking For:* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with experience in SEN or a strong passion for special education.* Must have the relevant qualifications.
