About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Operations / Contract Manager to join our team in Bexhill-on-Sea. In this key role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our contracts, ensuring smooth operations, client satisfaction, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee the successful execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational efficiency.
- Resource Scheduling: Optimize the allocation of resources, including staff and equipment, to maximize productivity and meet project deadlines.
- Cost Control: Procure materials and services at the most competitive rates to minimize costs and enhance profitability.
- Team Management: Manage staff rotas, holidays, and absences to ensure adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in a similar Operations or Contract Management role.
- Strong understanding of contract management principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
