Registered Manager

Job Summary:
A highly regarded specialist provider of mental health care homes. We have been providing excellence in mental health care since 2005, with five services (4 Residential and 1 Supported Living) in Kent and Sussex. We employ around 80 people, and provide support to 63 clients. All three of our long established services are rated Good with CQC, with the two other services having been launched within the last 2 years and not yet inspected.

We are now looking for a new Service Manager at our recently opened (July 2023) 15- bedded mental health service in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. This service has been flying high - 6 months after launch it already has 10 of the 15 rooms filled, with a full staff team in place, an excellent Deputy Manager, and a huge amount of support from East Sussex County Council.

Duties:
- Supervise and lead a team of care staff to ensure the delivery of person-centred care
- Manage the day-to-day running of the care home, including staffing, budgets, and resources
- Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care plans for residents
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents
- Provide leadership in dementia care and support staff in delivering specialised care

What we are looking for?
- At least 3 year's CQC Registered Manager experience
- Qualified to QCF Level 5 (or equivalent, i.e. Registered Mangers Award)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience of mental health care provision (e.g. personality disorders, bipolar disorder, EUPD, schizophrenia etc)
- Experience of residential care provision

- Driver (Preferred)
