A well-regarded special school and college, is expanding its team due to an increase in pupil numbers.

Seeking Classroom Teachers, both Primary and Secondary trained, to join our dedicated staff.

This is an excellent opportunity for dynamic teachers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Delivering tailored lessons to pupils aged 5 to 19 with speech, language, communication needs, learning difficulties, and associated SEND.
  • Differentiating planning and implementing support programs to meet individual student needs.
  • Managing a team of support staff and directing targeted intervention programmes.
  • Engaging with pupils to ensure aspirational progress, regardless of prior attainment.
  • Collaborating with an onsite therapy team and other staff members to provide a holistic educational experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Primary or Secondary education.
  • Experience working with children with SEND, either in mainstream or special school settings.
  • Specific experience in teaching Btec qualifications or Computing is desirable for certain positions.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and a commitment to raising achievement.
  • Skilled in differentiating instruction and managing support staff.
  • An understanding and interest in SEND, with a focus on enabling access to the curriculum for all students.
