Join Our Team as an Employer Engagement Advisor!We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as an Employer Engagement Advisor (EEA). In this key role, you will make a real difference by helping people who have faced barriers to employment find meaningful job opportunities and get back into work.
As an Employer Engagement Advisor, you will work closely with local businesses, partner organisations, and our dedicated employability team to identify and create employment opportunities for individuals who need extra support. Key Responsibilities:- Engage with Employers: Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses to source job vacancies, work tasters, and working interviews for clients.
- Job Matching: Work with employers to match job vacancies with the skills of clients, offering support such as CV matching, shortlisting, and coordinating assessments and interviews.
- New Business Development: Initiate and develop new relationships with businesses across a range of sectors to create sustainable employment opportunities for clients.
- Support Employment Models: Deliver employability support through the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) and Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) models, adhering to the Fidelity Scales and ensuring clients' needs are met.
- Collaborative Working: Work closely with Employment Advisors to market clients, deliver employability activities, and increase the number of clients placed into employment.
- Networking & Promotion: Represent the team at job fairs, employer events, and networking opportunities to widen the pool of candidates and increase job placements.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on job placements, monitor performance, and identify risks to achieving targets, ensuring continuous improvement in outcomes.
- Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, or business development.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
- Ability to work independently, manage a caseload, and meet set targets.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by those further removed from the labour market and a commitment to supporting them into sustainable employment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external partners.
- A commitment to promoting safeguarding and welfare of service users.
