We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English Teacher to join our secondary school in Bexley for a maternity cover position. This role offers the opportunity to teach Key Stages 3 to 5, engaging students with well-structured lessons that foster a love for literature and language.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in line with the curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning is essential, along with the ability to support and inspire students of all abilities.
The ideal candidate will have:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements
- Effective classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress
- A supportive and well-resourced department
