Physics Teacher / Physics ECT - TLRs Available!
An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Bexley are on the hunt for a Physics Teacher / ECT for a January 2025 start. This is a full time and permanent post.
The current Physics Head of Department has helped the Physics Department grow from strength to strength. They've now got a perfect mix of young, experienced and Teach First Teachers. This is alongside multiple Physics graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3,4 & 5.
This Secondary School has produced some incredible Progress 8 results across KS3,4 & 5 and have created a fun and creative learning environment for students.
Experienced Physics Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more.
Newly Qualified Physics Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Physics Teachers.

- Physics Teacher / ECT - KS3,4 & 5

- Working alongside a team of fantastic Physics Teachers
- TLR Opportunities: KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
- ECTs welcome:1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
- January 2025 - Full Time & Permanent
- MPS1-UPS3 - 38,766 - 60,092 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
- Located in the Borough of Bexley
PERSON SPECIFICATION - PHYSICS TEACHER / ECT
- Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
- Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
- Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
- You must be able to work as part of a large team of Physics Teachers
- Must be willing to listen to feedback
