We are seeking a Maths Teacher to join our dynamic school located in Bexley, which boasts an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and to contribute to a school ethos that promotes inclusivity, innovation, and perseverance.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and deliver compelling Maths lessons to secondary or post-16 students, fostering a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical skills.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning goals.
- Create a classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and promotes student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching practices and contribute to the school’s extracurricular programmes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest educational standards and practices.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is mandatory.
- Prior experience in teaching Maths is advantageous, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and challenge students through effective teaching methods.
- Proficient classroom management skills and the ability to establish a nurturing learning atmosphere.
