Your new companyThis is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced Property Development company around Bicester, that's expected to double in size, in the next 3-5 years. The role is no.2 to the Finance Director and offers the chance to make a real difference to how the Finance function operates, and the continued growth of the business. Your new roleAs the successful candidate, your duties will include:

  • Producing monthly Management Accounts, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow forecasts/statements etc.
  • Contributing to year-end audits and statutory accounts
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to processes, controls and systems
  • Preparing company budgets, partnering with all departments, analysing variances vs actual
  • Developing budgeting and forecasting with the FP&A Analyst
  • Providing insights and recommendations to the SLT to support decision making and planning
  • Supporting the CFO with the strategic plan for the business
  • Analysing data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings
  • Tax reporting including VAT, R&D tax credits, CIS and payroll
  • Management of the finance function, including 3 staff members

What you'll need to succeedTo be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be:

  • Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA, or by Experience
  • Experience operating in a similar Finance position
  • System/process improvement experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Experience working in a high-growth business is beneficial
  • Strong systems / Excel skills
