Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an organisation based in Bicester to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £40,000 along with other attractive benefits including a very generous pension and hybrid remote working!
Primary responsibilities;
* Liaising with the finance team to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger is maintained at all times. * Working closely with the finance team to ensure that accurate financial reports are completed within agreed deadlines. * Providing departmental and cost centre analysis to support the monthly reports. * Production of Monthly Management Accounts. * Supporting the production of the statutory Annual Accounts, and Audit cycle. * Liaison with Financial Controller and Budget Holders to produce rolling forecasts, overall year end forecast position, expenditure trends, and budgetary performance on a monthly basis. * Identifying significant variances for budget holders and advising them appropriately. * Validation of new spend and involvement in business cases.
Key experience and attributes;
* Management accounts experience * Analytically minded * Excellent attention to detail * Strong Excel and IT skills for data analysis and manipulation. * Ability to deal with sensitive information. * Good business partnering, influencing, and negotiating skills. * Able to report on financial matters to both financial and non-financial managers.
