The Role: Marketing Executive
As our Marketing Executive you will play a critical role in executing marketing strategies to promote our image, win new business, and drive our business forward. Responsibilities:
The Marketing Executive role reports to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in delivery of corporate and brand marketing initiatives and plans.
Develop and upload digital marketing content/social media tailored to our ideal customer segments.
Create and disseminate e-shots (MailChimp), analyse results and report findings.
Identify and liaise with third party associations to share marketing content
Brief designers to create videos, leaflets banners and videos for campaignsand exhibitions
Create a comprehensive and regularly updated library of media assets image and videos of work in progress and completed work.
Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the companys presence in the market.
Assist with identifying, preparing for and attending trade exhibitions.
Produce and update web content, and analyse website performance and report findings
Keep up to date with relevant market trends and competitor activity.
Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in market research activities to identify potential markets and customers

Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications and qualities:
EITHER: University degree and minimum 2 years marketing experience in a commercially driven and successful SME, preferably with an engineering focus. OR Minimum 4 years marketing experience in a commercially driven and successful SME, preferably with an engineering focus.
Strong understanding of marketing principles
Enthusiasm for exploring new technologies that can benefit marketing planning and execution.
Ability to take on board technical/science related details and relay the associated benefits and advantages of the technology to customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Genuine curiosity and active listening skills, along with a passion for building relationships.
Strong work ethic, adaptable to ever-changing demands, with ability to re-focus and develop options for quick changes in projects
Self-driven, eager to learn, able to work calmly under pressure, able to multitask, with excellent organisational skills
Experience with Social Media data analytics and Google Analytics
Good knowledge of Google Sheets / MS Excel
Passion for supporting positive social and environmental change
